These Terms apply broadly to all interactions with Savage Strategy Co. Where you engage us for a specific programme or service, a separate engagement letter or service agreement will set out the specific scope, duration, deliverables, and fees for that engagement. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and a specific engagement agreement, the engagement agreement will take precedence.
4.3 Not a Substitute for Professional Advice
Our advisory and coaching services are designed to assist business owners in improving their business performance. They are not a substitute for professional legal, financial, taxation, or accounting advice. We strongly encourage clients to engage appropriately qualified professionals in these areas alongside our work. Any financial information, projections, or recommendations we provide should be reviewed with your accountant or financial adviser before action is taken.
4.4 Results Disclaimer
Business outcomes depend on many variables, including the actions taken by the client, market conditions, and factors outside our control. Any results referenced in our marketing materials or website content represent outcomes achieved by specific clients in their specific circumstances. 5. Fees and Payment
Fee Structure
Fees for our services will be confirmed in writing prior to the commencement of any engagement. We will not commence work until fees are agreed and any required deposit or initial payment has been received.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
6.1 Client Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an engagement, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation terms will be set out in the relevant engagement letter.
6.2 Session Rescheduling
We understand that business priorities shift. Where you need to reschedule a booked session, please give us at least 48 hours notice where possible. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged at the full session rate at our discretion.
6.3 Our Right to Cancel
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend an engagement if, in our reasonable judgement, continuing the engagement would not be in the best interests of the client or would conflict with our professional obligations. In such cases, we will provide reasonable notice and refund any fees paid for services not yet delivered.
6.4 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded by contract.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Intellectual Property
All content on our Website, including text, graphics, logos, frameworks, tools, guides, templates, and other materials, is the intellectual property of Savage Strategy Co unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, or use any of this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
7.2 Client Materials
Any documents, data, financial information, or other materials you provide to us remain your property. By providing these materials, you grant us a limited licence to use them solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed services. 7.3 Frameworks and Methodologies
Where we use third-party frameworks or methodologies in our work (such as the Value Stick framework, StoryBrand, or Business Made Simple), those frameworks remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. Our application of these frameworks to your business does not transfer any rights in the underlying frameworks to you.
8. Confidentiality
We treat all client information, including business details, financial data, strategic discussions, and personal information shared during engagements, as strictly confidential. We will not disclose confidential information to any third party without your consent, except as required by law or as necessary to deliver the agreed services through trusted sub-contractors or professional advisers who are themselves bound by confidentiality obligations.
We ask our clients to treat information shared by us, including our methodologies, frameworks, and proprietary tools, with the same level of confidentiality. Specific confidentiality obligations for client engagements will be set out in the engagement letter.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 General Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising from your use of our Website or the services we provide is limited to the total fees paid by you to us in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9.2 Exclusion of Indirect Loss
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss or damage, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, or damage to business reputation, arising from your use of our Website or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

10.3 Third-Party Booking Tools
Appointment bookings made through our scheduling tool are subject to the terms and conditions of that third-party provider. We are not responsible for technical issues arising from third-party tools, but will always work to find an alternative if a scheduling issue arises.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tasmania, Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tasmania.
12. Dispute Resolution
We are committed to resolving any concerns or disputes fairly and efficiently. If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us directly in the first instance using the contact details in Section 13. We will acknowledge your concern within five business days and work with you in good faith to reach a resolution.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, both parties agree to attempt mediation before commencing any formal legal proceedings. Mediation costs will be shared equally unless otherwise agreed.
